I hoped this book was a bit more kid-oriented than it is, but it’s not. Its graphics are a bit old-school and by old-school I mean as in 1920s-30s – so I was immediately hooked. I loved the neighborhood facts. I am currently staying in Chicago for a few years helping my family out and found the information in this book invaluable. Newscasts here frequently refer to neighborhoods by the major park in that area. This book has many of those parks and neighborhoods. So as an an activity book, I give it 3 stars out of 5; but as a general information on Chicago book – I give it 4 stars out of 5.
The Chicago Challenge Activity Book is published by Dover, who provided a digital copy to me for review.
